Providing overall strategic direction and management to the manufacturing department in a cross-functional and matrix organization; Managing the manufacturing department (including Assembly, Equipment Maintenance, Stamping, Moulding, Plating, and even more depending on ability) to achieve optimum profitability and effective use of production assets and human resources while adhering to the department budget & targeted time schedules; Recruiting, developing, and leading a motivated and team-oriented manufacturing team and establish a safe, fair, open, competitive and rewarding work environment; Continuously improving manufacturing operations, improving efficiency of the processes and controls through training and educational programs; Reporting, prioritizing and managing opportunities for improvement based on analysis of factual systems including SAP, ISO and TSO, as well as close communication with employees; Delegating work to able staff members to ensure efficient use of time; Ensuring smooth operations and completing compliance with government regulations, approvals, and customer demands within the manufacturing department; Communicating and producing reports to the General Manager to present a clear status of the manufacturing department as a whole; Presenting viable solutions to any issues or problems, such as equipment investment, production planning, manufacturing improvement, expense saving. Managing and coordinating Technical Trainers from US to grow the skills of local technical staff
